How much does Ava Data skip tracing cost?

Ava Data skip tracing costs 1 credit (2¢) per matched phone, 2 credits (4¢) per matched phone + email, and 10 credits (20¢) per Deep Search match. Every account is on the $9/month plan, which includes 100 credits. A List Builder pull is 1 credit per record and Digital Matching is 2 credits per match.

Credits are charged only when a search returns a match. The rate card above is Ava Data's own price list, and it is the same whether you search one record from the dashboard, call the API, or upload a file. What does a search that finds nothing cost?

A search that finds nothing costs nothing on Ava Data. Credits are charged per matched record, not per request and not per row: a Standard Search with no match charges 0 credits, and a bulk row with no match releases the credits reserved for it. The rule is the same from the dashboard and through the API.

You pay for matches returned, never for searches run. That is why the effective cost of a list is always at or below the per-match price times the number of rows, and why an old or thin list does not bill for its own gaps.

Is there a monthly minimum?

The $9/month plan is the only recurring charge at Ava Data, and every account — dashboard or API — is on it. The plan includes 100 credits. On top of the plan there is no order minimum and no usage minimum: a single lookup is a valid order, and a month with zero searches bills $9 and nothing else.

Credits are spent only when a search returns a match, so the bill tracks the work you actually do: $9 for the plan, plus 2¢ for every phone the platform finds beyond the 100 credits already included.

How much does one API lookup cost?

One API lookup on Ava Data costs 1 credit (2¢) for a matched phone, 2 credits (4¢) for phone + email, or 10 credits (20¢) for a Deep Search — the same credits as a dashboard search, drawn from the same balance on the same $9/month plan. API access is enabled per account, at 60 requests per minute per key.

There is no separate API plan and no usage minimum on calls; a lookup that returns no match costs nothing. To switch API access on, email support@avadata.ai, then generate a key from Settings → API Access. Endpoint-level credit costs, request fields and error codes are in the API reference.

How does bulk billing work?

Bulk billing on Ava Data reserves the estimated credits when you submit a file and releases the unused remainder after the job finalizes. A bulk file can hold up to 250,000 records, and a 10-row file and a 250,000-row file are priced the same per match: 1 credit (2¢) per phone, 2 credits (4¢) per phone + email.

Rows that return no match are released, not charged. Results export with up to 35 columns, and the identity graph behind every match refreshes every 24 hours. Are Ava Data's searches under 5 cents per record?
